Most services at St Saviour’s are based on Common Worship. We use modern language but retain the traditions of the Anglican church with robed Priest and choir. The 8am Holy Communion Service uses the Book of Common Prayer and is celebrated  on the first Sunday of the month at St Saviour’s church and on the third Sunday of the month at Torteval Church, being the two churches who share Rev’d Mark Charmley as Rector.

Our music too is recognisably traditional, we sing hymns well known for generations along with more modern songs. Mostly our singing is led by our fine pipe organ, but on the first Sunday of the month we enjoy the playing of our all age music group.

At St Saviour’s we pride ourselves on the sincerity of our welcome towards visitors and newcomers, but always realise that everyone has the right to come into church and be left in peace.

Special Services and Celebrations Baptisms – If you would like to talk to someone about arranging a baptism please call 01481 263045 and we will contact you to explain the service. Weddings If you would like to be married in St Saviour’s Parish Church then please contact 01481 263045. Being divorced will not automatically be a bar to a church wedding. Other services of celebration We are happy to discuss holding special services in the church in order to celebrate a special day, such as an anniversary, or to give thanks, for example, for the birth of a baby.
