The Wright Notes 14th November

During Remembrance Week, we are delighted to welcome The Wright Notes. Led by Rachel Wright, this highly entertaining adult choir will be performing for the first time at St Saviour!  This promises to be a really joyous evening, with a wide variety of music, lots of fun … and all The Wright Notes of course! In support of Friends of Guernsey Music Centre. 

In June 2019 the Guernsey Music Service celebrated its fortieth anniversary and it was at the celebratory concert in Beau Sejour that a group of parents and former pupils joined with the Youth Choir to perform together. The seed for an adult choir was sown! It took another six months to get organised and the first rehearsal of the Friends of Guernsey Music Centre Adult Choir  took place in the Spring term of 2020. The first public performance was at the Music Centre Open morning in July 2021 with 25 members and from there the choir has gone from strength to strength and renamed as ‘The Wright Notes’ in 2022.
